How are the sizes of the designs measured? Is it the size of the frame/mat, or the artwork itself?

The size of each design is the final size of the finished product, including the frame/mat. For example, the Five Layer (Framed) version of each design is assembled with an 11″x14″ frame. Similarly, all Single Layer (Matted) versions of each design are assembled with a mat sized to 11″x14″, 8″x10″, or 5″x7″.

The base text for the artwork includes song lyrics and Bible passages. Isn't that copyright infringement?

All of the text used in Typographic Expressions artwork is public domain to avoid any copyright infringement. For example, all of the songs used as the base text for the Old Glory design are public domain songs. Similarly, all designs that use biblical passages as the base text use the King James Version of the Bible, which is also public domain.

What is the return policy for orders?

If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you can return it within 30 days of when you received the order for a full refund.

What sort of information do you collect from users?

Personal information is collected when a user places an order, and is limited to their name, email, and billing/shipping address. Credit card information is included in the order, but is not stored in any way by Typographic Expressions. All other information collected from users of this site is non-personal identification information (such as browser name and the user's operating system). How secure is the ordering process?

As is stated in our Privacy Policy, we adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, transaction information and data stored on our site. Sensitive and private data exchange between the site and its users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Also, we don't store any credit card information from our users. Our site integrates with a third party online payment partner to securely process all transactions.

What if I don't want to use my credit card for ordering? Is there another way I can place an order?

If you would prefer not to input your credit card information for your order, you can fill out the Contact Form, indicating what designs and sizes/types you would like to order. Once you have filled out the contact form, you will be contacted directly regarding alternate methods of payment.
